A little help
…goes a long way.
Kayleigh Johnson
PRIVATE TUTOR & QUALIFIED TEACHER

MY STORY
Hello,
My name is Kayleigh Johnson and I’m a Private Tutor. My vision is for every child to feel confident in themselves, their knowledge and to enjoy their learning.
I left teaching in schools in December 2019 to work with children on a one-to-one basis and I now tutor children from ages 4-16, supporting them with:
- Reading (including phonics)
- Writing
- SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar)
- Handwriting
- SAT’s and GCSE preparation
I also tutor Maths for EYFS, KS1 and Lower KS2 students, that is children ages 4-9.

During the Pandemic, I have been working alongside children supporting them with their home learning, whilst building their confidence in English and Maths through face-to-face and/or online sessions. As I have always said, “a little help goes a long way.”

REVIEWS
My daughter has been having private tutor lessons for a few weeks now. we can see a big improvement and she absolutely loves learning with Kayleigh. Kayleigh is constantly making sure Brooke understands and won't move on to the next section until Brooke is ready to.
We would highly recommend Learn with Kayleigh!!

Our Daughter has been having private tutor sessions for a couple of months now with Learn with Kayleigh & overall we are very impressed. Keren has grown more & more confident with every lesson & has come on leaps & bounds with her English. Kayleigh's lessons are fun, informative & engaging which is fantastic for children. Kayleigh also follows all covid requirements.

My Daughter has been having weekly lessons for a couple of months now and her abilities, positive attitude to work and confidence have grown so much. The lessons have been delivered in a way that makes learning fun and looks forward to each and every lesson.
Before these lessons, English was a real struggle and now she enjoys it and has a much better understanding. The support and approach Kayleigh gives is really well tailored to her needs.
I would highly recommend to anyone with a child struggling or who wants some extra help as she really has excelled our expectations. Thank you for all your help and guidance. A truly wonderful teacher xx

HOW I WORK
Face-to-face sessions are one hour long, (this may be slightly different for very young children) and parents will choose how many of these sessions they would like a week. Depending on your location, I do offer a free consultation, where I can come and meet you all, get to know your child and discuss how I can best help them. I work hard to ensure each child I work with receives individualised planning and support.
I provide various resources and include the use of IT to deliver my sessions. Students learn through games and watch videos as learning that is fun will be remembered.
Online sessions work slightly differently which I would be happy to discuss individually with you should you want more information.
I believe that a child’s self-esteem is vital for their learning. I thoroughly enjoy watching the children I work with grow in knowledge and in confidence.
